Intern - Studio Crew

About the role

KUTV, Utah’s #1 news station, is seeking Studio Production Interns to gain hands-on experience in the control room and on the studio set. This unpaid internship involves observing and participating in live newscasts daily.

Responsibilities

• Gain understanding of how newscasts are produced from behind the scenes
• Participate actively in live newscasts
• Learn firsthand about the fast-paced world of news

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a journalism, mass communications, communications, film, or related field
• Desire to work in the news industry

Qualifications

• Strong interest in journalism and media production
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic knowledge of video editing software is a plus

Pay
