Intern - State Farm Agent Team Member
Responsibilities
- Assist the business goals of the insurance agency with mutually agreed upon expectations.
- Provide assistance to our sales and service team members.
- Duties may include answering phones, updating policyholders' contact information, working beginning of day reports, scanning and attaching documents, providing evidence of insurance from lenders and mortgage companies, assisting policyholders in registering on statefarm.com, answering billing questions, collecting and entering payments, contacting prospects or policyholders to schedule appointments for our sales and service team, contacting prospects to gather information to hand off to our sales team, collecting claim information to share with our licensed team members, and collecting renewal payments.
- Other duties as they arise.
- To be eligible for an internship, you must be a full-time student currently enrolled in an undergraduate or post-graduate program throughout the duration of the internship.
- Coursework or expressed interest in areas such as Insurance, Financial Services, Real Estate, Marketing, etc.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as operate independently.
- Effective customer service and interpersonal skills, including the ability to create, build, and maintain relationships with internal and external parties.
- Prioritization, time management, and organizational skills to meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
- Compensation: $16.00 per hour
