About the role

The Sports Strategy & Activation Intern will work alongside the US Sports Business & Client Strategy team to support live pursuits across the NFL, NHL, MLB, WNBA, and emerging sports properties. This role offers hands-on experience in proposal development, market and partner research, account operations, and live activation exposure for top-tier pro sports clients.

Responsibilities

  • Help move real deals from first conversation to signed contract
  • Contribute to proposal development
  • Support market and partner research
  • Assist with account operations
  • Gain exposure to live activations for top-tier pro sports clients

Requirements

This is an entry-level part-time position up to 24 hours per week. No prior experience is required, but candidates should have:

  • A strong interest in sports business and strategy
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Experience with HubSpot, Wrike, or similar tools
  • Knowledge of sports leagues and teams
  • Interest in sports marketing and event planning

Skills

While not required, candidates with the following skills are preferred:

  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Attention to detail
