About the role
Support morning daily KPI prep and reporting for responsible parts commodity.
Problem solving and containment actions for deemed supplier related topics.
Monitoring containment for identified supplier related defects.
System development and enhancement of dashboards and system improvement to increase data transparency and reporting efficiency.
Aid in daily preparation, analysis, and reporting of KPIs for assigned parts commodities.
Support problem-solving efforts and containment actions for supplier-related quality issues.
Monitor plant sensors for supplier-related defects and collaborate on containment measures.
Contribute to the management and tracking of departmental KPIs.
Aid in developing and enhancing dashboards and reporting tools using software such as Microsoft Power Platform, Tableau, AWS, etc.
Collaborate on data analysis projects, including lessons learned from previous launch data, to identify and propose process optimizations.
Shadow and assist veteran Quality Specialists to understand powertrain commodities and cross-functional team collaboration.
Contribute to improving departmental communication and data transparency within the supplier base.
Aid QSPs, OP Leads, and Section managers as needed.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research and conceptualize new ideas.
- Support project management and coordination of plans for related projects.
- Cook up and support focused, community-based events and initiatives.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret information to evaluate the landscape against business strategies.
- Stay abreast of best practices and recommend relevant initiatives for activities and actions.
- Provide regular input on enhancing processes and practices.
- Partner with stakeholders to enable successful prioritization, development, delivery, and adoption of program goals.
- Create PowerPoint slide decks for presentations and support preparation for meetings.
- Participate in project team meetings.
- Provide general administrative support.
- Schedule the use of meeting room facilities on an as-needed basis.
- Perform other administrative duties and special projects as assigned by project team members.
Qualifications
- ME, IE, or CS preferred – Programming and Data base Knowledge is desired.
- Supply Chain management, Business Management also accepted.
- Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major).
- Have enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
- Good organization and project management skills.
- Good communication and presentation skills in English and preferably German.
- An analytical, solution-oriented mindset.
- Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
- Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week).
- Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.
- MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT.
- Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
