Intern Program Faculty Coach (PK-3 General Education) Temporary (Non-tenured Track Position)
The Placer County Office of Education (PCOE) hires temporary contractors to support, coach, and supervise teacher interns with embedded fieldwork as part of the PK-3 ECE Specialist Instruction and Education Specialist Mild to Moderate and Extensive Support Needs Intern Program. Program coaches work with teacher interns over two years, helping them integrate course content into their teaching practices and monitor teaching/learning effectiveness.
About the Role
Candidates must be available to work in West Contra Costa County. Upon hire, proof of a valid California driver's license is required. The position offers a compensation of $3,300 per intern per year, all inclusive, with no additional stipend for equipment or mileage.
Responsibilities
- Support and coach teacher interns in integrating course content into their teaching practices.
- Monitor and evaluate teaching/learning effectiveness in Education Practicum Fieldwork & Supervision assignments.
