Intern - Production Assembly Operations

About the Role

Candidate will be supervised by a YES Industrial Engineer and work with the Assembly Team at Yancey Engineered Solutions to develop trade skills and seek efficiency gains within production operations.

Responsibilities

• Review standardized label solution for common unit labeling and provide feedback or improvements as needed.
• Train on production kit review process with assembly teams to audit kits once received from the Supply Chain team, identifying gaps and eliminating missing parts before they impact production operations.
• Evaluate and identify areas for improvement in the final assembly quality gate.
• Identify areas of repeat failures and found issues, then work with assembly to establish processes to eliminate those issues.
