Intern - Process Management & Integration

About the Role

The Intern will provide support to gas utility personnel while developing technical expertise, interpersonal and communication skills, and project management skills. The intern will assist the business process integration department and other coordinating departments with various business-driven projects and administrative tasks related to asset management, supplier invoicing, and workforce mobility systems.

Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of a mentor to build working knowledge of natural gas transmission and distribution engineering through exposure to a variety of facilities and workflows.
• Utilize various computer programs, databases, spreadsheets, etc., to support department projects.
• Gain exposure to reporting tools and utilize Structured Query Language (SQL).
• Assist with business process and data analysis.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or HSED.
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related major with a graduation date after July 2027.
• Minimum GPA of 2.8.

This internship is full-time during the Summer of 2027 and offers a hybrid work arrangement (remote/on-site) with time spent in the Chicago, Illinois office.

Pay

The hourly rate for this internship is $23.10, with a pay range of $21.30 to $25.20. Paid company holidays are included.
