Intern Pre Licensed Therapist
Description
Clarvida is seeking candidates for non-paid internship and practicum opportunities for first and second master's level students. These internships provide direct learning opportunities in the areas of psychotherapy, behavioral health, and case management, with the provision of individual therapy, early intervention, and psychoeducation services within a multidisciplinary team environment. The internship program provides students with the chance to earn academic credit while gaining practical experience, particularly those pursuing master’s degrees in social work or psychology.

Responsibilities
- Conduct initial behavioral health assessments and engage clients in the development of a treatment plan, noting their strengths, challenges, and support systems.
- Meet with clients regularly to provide individual, family, and/or group counseling.
- Regularly assess clients' strengths and mental health treatment needs.
Requirements
- Masters in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or other licensure eligible degree.
- Internship work location: Lancaster, CA - On-site.
- Employment type: Internship.
