Role Overview

The Power Delivery Fall Intern supports the Work Management Center of Excellence by assisting with projects aimed at improving planning, scheduling, dispatching, execution, and reporting of electric utility work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze work management data, operational metrics, and business processes.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and presentations for leadership.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives related to field operations.
  • Identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for operational improvements.
  • Document processes, SOPs, and workflow enhancements.
  • Affiliate with testing, validation, and implementation of technology systems.
  • Support meetings through agenda preparation, action item documentation, and project tracking.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Engineering, and IT.
  • Conduct research and benchmarking of industry best practices.
  • Complete special projects and assignments as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Engineering, Business, Data Analytics, or related fields.
  • Sophomore standing or higher preferred, with a minimum GPA of 2.8.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • PREFERRED SKILLS INCLUDE EXPERIENCE WITH DATA ANALYSIS TOOLS (POWER BI, SQL, PYTHON), PROCESS METHODOLOGIES (LEAN, SIX SIGMA), AND STRONG ANALYTICAL AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS.

Work Environment
