Intern Occupational Therapist CTS

Job Objective

Observe Occupational Therapists providing therapy services within our Children's Therapeutic Services.

Qualifications

• Student will be pursuing a minimum of a master's in occupational therapy
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Essential Responsibilities

• Observe occupational therapists providing therapy services
• Research medical conditions as directed by the supervising therapist
• Write progress notes
• Set up therapy sessions (physical environment)
• Must do 1-2 in-services to program staff
• Observe developmental evaluations
• Write up occupational therapy evaluations
• Intern will be conducting an evaluation with the supervising therapist observing
• Intern will do a therapy session with the supervising therapist observing
