Intern - Nurse II

About the Role

Provides technical assistance under the supervision of a registered nurse for a specific patient group to support quality outcomes. Facilitates communication with staff, patients, and visitors, and performs additional duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients under the guidance of a registered nurse.
• Contributes to developing and implementing patient care plans.
• Evaluates patient progress and adjusts care accordingly.
• Provides direct patient care and supports nursing staff.
• Participates in initiatives to enhance healthcare delivery.
• Builds clinical leadership knowledge and engages in ongoing education.
• Completes assigned goals and tasks.

Requirements

• Graduate of a registered nursing program awaiting licensure, with a maximum of 90 days in the Nurse Intern II role.
• Computer literacy is required.
• Must obtain BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
