Intern - Nurse

About the Role

Provides technical assistance under the supervision of a registered nurse for a specific group of patients to promote quality outcomes. Supports communication with staff, patients, and guests, and performs additional duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients under RN guidance.
• Contributes to developing and implementing patient care plans.
• Evaluates care plans and adjusts as needed.
• Assists nursing staff with patient care.
• Engages in activities to enhance healthcare delivery.
• Builds clinical leadership knowledge and participates in ongoing education.
• Completes assigned goals effectively.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled as a senior in an approved nursing program, within 1 year of graduation.
• Meets or exceeds academic requirements.
• Computer literacy.
• CPR/BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
