About the role

Responsibilities
- Supports R&D and NPI activities, including generating work instructions, procedures, and programming coatings.
- Qualifies and processes qualification parts through various process steps such as chemical and mechanical operations.
- Develops and maintains process documents, drawings, and training materials.
- Assists in the design and development of production tooling (fixtures, baskets, etc.) for efficient part processing.
- Supports on-the-job training and participates in projects to improve systems, operations, and cross-functional collaboration.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical or Materials Engineering.
- Prior internship or project experience in a manufacturing or product design environment is advantageous.

- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Collaborative working style with individuals at all levels.
- Demonstrated understanding of production, engineering, and quality initiatives, along with safety and quality practices.
- High-level troubleshooting skills and hands-on problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to read and identify critical quality characteristics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and other relevant software.

Pay
The starting salary range for this position is $20-$25 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
