About the role
As the Sales Intern at LogistiQ, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our order processing team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring incoming customer requests are accurately captured, organized, and prepared for efficient processing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist sales team to create sales opportunities
- Assist with fielding inbound requests and validating dates
- Assist with preparing orders for final entry
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with internal teams, vendors, stakeholders & community leaders
- Able to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Able to adapt to the needs of the organization & employees
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Successful completion of 90-day probationary period
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field preferred
Physical Demands
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
Work Environment
- The work environment is pleasant, temperature controlled, professional office environment in a manufacturing setting
- The employee works in an office setting but does have frequent interaction with the shop floor
- On the shop floor, the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles
- The noise level in the work environment is mixed and the air temperature fluctuates with the seasonal weather
