Analyze Monthly Project Controls Progress Reports

Research and prepare project updates for inclusion in M2 Quarterly Reports and other collateral materials.

Record Retention

Affiliate with record retention through monitoring and populating the M2 Document Center.

Maintain/Monitor M2 Website

Ensure accuracy of content on M2 website and prepare materials for M2 Program Management Committee.

Collaborate with GIS

Collaborate with GIS to update status on maps for M2 projects and programs.

Track Emerging Sales Tax Measure Activity

Track emerging sales tax measure activity and developments relevant to the M2 Program.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled full-time college student (Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior) at an accredited two- or four-year college or university
  • Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Transportation Planning, Public Administration, Engineering, Urban Planning, Public Policy, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
  • Interest in transportation funding, public infrastructure, program management, and capital program delivery
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment with varying deadlines

What You’ll Do

  • Analyze monthly Project Controls progress reports and prepare a snapshot-view matrix with updated costs, schedules, status, and forecasts for M2 projects.

Pay and Schedule

  • The pay range is from $20.00 - $23.00 per hour depending on your education level.
  • This position is not eligible for employee benefits.
  • The work schedule will consist of approximately 20 hours a week, not to exceed 1,000 hours within a continuous 12-month period.
