Job Location: Waco, Texas; On-site
Responsibilities
- Performs a variety of industrial engineering tasks that are planned to provide experience and familiarization with the manufacturing operations staff and Company programs, methods, and practices
- Performs operation analysis, variance analysis, and method improvements studies
- Assists in auditing labor standards for accuracy
- Assists in the economic evaluation of suggestions and method improvement studies
- Prepares work flow, layout, sequence, manpower and other related charts, graphs and reports
- Assists in capital expenditure analysis, justification, and forecast
- Assists in plant and office space planning for efficient and effective utilization
- Assists in developing LEAN implementation plans and process improvement
Qualifications
To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Management, Quality Sciences or related field.
