Intern, Industrial Design
About the role
Bould Design is seeking an exceptional industrial design intern to join their award-winning studio. The intern will work alongside a small, experienced team and contribute to all phases of the design process, from early concept development through production.
Responsibilities
- Work on real client programs
- Gain hands-on experience in industrial design
- Contribute to concept development and production
- Collaborate with experienced industrial designers
- Develop skills in sketching, visualization, and form development
- Apply strong aesthetic judgment and attention to detail
- Use SolidWorks, KeyShot, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Engage in projects spanning product design, technology, and manufacturing
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Design or a related field
- Strong sketching, visualization, and form development skills
- Good aesthetic judgment and attention to detail
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, KeyShot, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Interest in developing concepts through to production
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Collaborative, analytical, and self-motivated mindset
