About the role
L3Harris is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented intern to join our finance team in the Pricing capacity. In this role, you will be responsible for pricing various efforts for both Government and Commercial customers. This role encompasses all aspects of pricing, including pricing proposal inputs utilizing pricing software, creating both cost and price volumes, supporting internal reviews, ensuring compliance to both company policies and Government requirements, and participating in customer proposal audits. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting both internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Respond to all assigned requests for proposal (RFP)
- Review and analyze RFP to develop compliant proposals and pricing data
- Support both internal and external reviews
- Perform well in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines
- Ensure the use of current published pricing rates, estimating factors, and cost buildup algorithms
- Work collaboratively with peers, management, proposal teams, and customers
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy and support maintaining a DFARS adequate estimating system
- Ensure final submissions are compliant with company policies, customer requests, and U.S. Government regulations when applicable
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Management, Business Administration, Mathematics, or related field
Skills
- Knowledge of Adobe Pro, Nitro PDF Pro, and Microsoft PowerPoint
- Experience with Excel using Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, and SUM/IF formulas
Schedule
9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days – totaling 80 hours worked, and have every other Friday off.
