About the role
As a Finance Intern you will rotate through different areas of our Finance team—FP&A, Accounting, and Project Accounting—to gain a well‑rounded view of how Finance supports the business. The internship is onsite at our Columbia, MD office and includes shadowing, learning new skills, and contributing to real projects.
Responsibilities
- Rotate across Finance teams to see the variety of career paths available.
- Shadow professionals and learn the “why” behind the work we do.
- Assist with hands‑on tasks such as data entry, updating reports, and joining team meetings.
- Learn to use tools including Excel, Power Query, Power Pivot, and CRM systems.
- Support reporting and forecasting processes, from monthly spend reports to utilization tracking (Financial Planning & Analysis).
- Gain exposure to accounting processes such as general‑ledger reconciliations and month‑end close (Corporate Accounting).
- Contribute to projects like backlog updates, project setups, clearing‑account research, project‑forecast review, month‑end revenue close review, and general field‑operations support (Project Accounting).
Requirements
- Current student in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Curious, motivated, and eager to learn.
- Comfortable with Excel and interested in learning new tools.
- Detail‑oriented with strong communication skills.

Pay
National Pay Range: $25 — $30 USD.
