We achieve this goal by focusing on the needs of our clients. McCarthy Bush Corporation is currently seeking a Finance & Accounting Intern for Summer 2027. The Accounting Intern will gain practical experience in the daily functions of an accounting team, working alongside professionals to learn and apply core accounting skills. This role mirrors the responsibilities of our entry-level Accounting Assistants but on a shortened internship timeline.
Responsibilities
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable
- Perform data entry
- Conduct reconciliations
- Handle general ledger duties
- Support summer projects focused on data analytics and financial reporting
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass a pre‑employment background check and drug screen
- Reliable transportation (may support accounting functions across multiple worksites in the QC area)
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in, or a recent graduate from, an accounting, finance, business administration, or related field degree program.
