Intern, Environmental

About the role

Halff is actively seeking an Intern for our Environmental team in our Richardson, TX office. The Internship will begin on June 7th, 2027, and conclude on August 13th, 2027.

Responsibilities

• Support environmental projects including asbestos consulting, cultural resources management, environmental due diligence, and NEPA documentation
• Assist with GIS geodatabase development, environmental constraints mapping/analysis, and wetland delineation
• Participate in threatened/endangered species surveys, wildlife habitat assessments, and storm water compliance tasks
• Contribute to environmental permitting and mitigation efforts, including Section 404/10 permitting
• Provide support for public involvement initiatives and regulatory approvals

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in environmental science, biology, natural resources management, or a related field
• Master’s Degree is a bonus
• Strong communication skills
