About the role
The Bureau of Human Resources and Administration is seeking an intern to support the HRIS system upgrade for Payroll and Work Force Management (WFM), including process improvements and change management planning.
Responsibilities
- Documentation of business processes, standard operating procedures, and process flow maps
- Data analytics and other projects in various HR functions
- Show strong understanding of business process documentation and change management tools and theories
- Work independently and in a team environment
Qualifications
- Enrolled as a part-time/full-time student at a college, university, or technical institute at the time of application
- Completed one year (nine months) of their chosen program by the start of the internship
- All students are encouraged to apply, but preference may be given to juniors/seniors, South Dakota residents, and students from South Dakota institutions
Pay
$22.82/hour
