Job Purpose Seeking an energetic, responsible intern to join our team. In this position, you will be expected to learn the ins and outs of our daily routines and procedures, you will focus on learning how our organization runs. You will work to develop and maintain long-term operational relationships with our customers while providing first in class customer focused solutions. What you will do... Answer phone and email inquiriesIdentify customer needs and collaborate with Field Operations to help deliver their needs Provide a consistently high level of Customer Service to all with a concentration to retain and build relationshipsDevelop and maintain strong relationships with customers through individual efforts and involvement with Sales and Ops TeamsProvide timely and accurate quotes/reservations that lead to accurate invoicingBe a part of a dedicated team that resolves customers needs and coordinates rental activities through the Field and BranchesEscalate all issues when fulfilling deals where pushback is given on customer needs and dealsBecome knowledgeable of the Herc Way and how the team does business daily Requirements Currently enrolled at a college or university and pursuing a bachelor’s degree and are in your junior or senior yearExcellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)Ability to work between 20-30 hours/week.Ability to type 30wpmWork in the FSC (Corporate Office) Complete any assigned training via Herc U Skills Req #: 70802 Pay Range: $19.00/hr Please be advised that the actual salary offered for any position is subject to the company's sole discretion and may be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, experience, location, and overall fit for the role.
