INTERN- COUNTY CLERK/REGISTER OF DEEDS (SKILLBRIDGE ONLY)

About the role

Interns will gain insight into public service and the 4 divisions (Vital Records, Legal, Elections, and Deeds) of the Clerk/Register's office. Provides support to the Office of Genesee County Clerk/ Register of Deeds; assists staff in conducting basic office functions as needed, such as data entry, research projects, community outreach and file management.

Responsibilities

• Assists Clerk/Register staff in collecting and preparing data for various projects
• Attend governmental meetings, and review official proceedings
• Review and scan documents submitted to the Clerk/Register's office
• Assist with preparation of election materials
• Prepares reports of limited or variable complexity

Requirements

• Must be a current student pursuing an Associate, Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited instruction of higher education.
• Must be able to perform Essential Job Duties and Functions with or without reasonable accommodations.

Pay

Salary: $15.7621 Hourly
