Intern/Coop (Engineering)

About the role

Vishay Thin Film is seeking a 1st shift Fall Engineering Intern/Co-op located in Niagara Falls, NY. The site offers natural beauty, including proximity to the world-famous Niagara Falls.

Responsibilities

• Assist department leaders, supervisors, and engineers on current initiatives
• Assist in the capital equipment investment process, including factory acceptance testing
• Perform assigned projects with a final engineering summary report/presentation

Requirements

• Student pursuing a 2-4 year degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
• Self-motivated and able to take direction while working independently on assigned tasks
• Ability to multi-task, manage time effectively, and meet deliverable deadlines
• Eagerness to learn and work collaboratively with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering personnel
• Experience with MS Office
• This position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information and is open only to "U.S. Persons" as defined by U.S. federal law (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)

Pay

$20-22 per hour
