Intern, Commercial Sales Finance - Wine & Spirits

Job Description This position is responsible for providing analytical support to the Commercial Finance team in the areas of financial reporting, analysis, and budgeting. The intern will be responsible for completing specific duties related to month-end close, planning, forecasting, budgeting, and general business analysis. Responsibilities Primarily duties within the Commercial Finance organization. Specific duties to include (but not limited to) the following: Assist in the collection of monthly financial data and analysis of monthly financial resultsSupport monthly and quarterly forecasting, planning, and reportingAssist in the preparation of the monthly financial reporting packageAssistance with ongoing projects as neededAd hoc reporting and analysis as assigned Qualifications Current full-time student enrolled in either an undergraduate or graduate-level program. GPA of 3.0 or higher, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Education/Experience Undergraduate Internship: High School Degree or EquivalentGraduate Internship: Bachelor’s Degree Core Competencies To be successful, candidates should possess excellent communication and interaction skills, both oral and written. They should have solid financial acumen and analytical/problem-solving ability. Strong customer service orientation is required with the ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines. Interns must be able to function in a fast-paced environment and adapt to rapidly changing priorities. They should be team players with a positive attitude, highly motivated, and change-oriented individuals capable of working with a variety of people at all levels. Additionally, they should be self-starters with the ability to work independently or in a team. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future.
