Intern - Commercial Banking and Credit (Summer 2027)

About the role

The Commerce Bank Commercial Banking & Credit Internship introduces individuals to various career paths within the bank through project assignments, job shadowing, and building a professional network. Interns will gain knowledge on how the bank prospects and manages commercial relationships, assesses and mitigates risk related to lending, facilitates cash management and treasury services for customers. The internship culminates in a Capstone Project related to Relationship Banking.

Responsibilities

• Build an understanding of Business Development and Relationship Management
• Build a personal brand for self-marketing and networking growth
• Prepare elements of Credit Approval requests using data from multiple systems and Relationship Managers
• Prepare company spreads using varying quality financial statements and tax returns
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Qualifications
