Responsibilities

  • Apply principles learned in Construction Management/Project Controls classes to various projects within the facilities.
  • Work with contractors and other construction specialists in the specialized industrial construction of projects.
  • Plan and schedule materials, labor, and equipment for construction.
  • Track and analyze costs and compare to control budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with document control procedures and processes.
  • Prepare documents providing an audit trail of major project decisions and risk mitigation efforts.
  • Aid in bid preparation, award, and contract administration.
  • Monitor and report contractor productivity, progress, and performance.
  • Prepare schedule updates and critical path analysis.

Qualifications

  • Desired majors: Construction Management, Construction Science, Construction Engineering, Construction Technology, or other related disciplines.
  • Strong academic performance.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the US on a full-time, indefinite basis without the need for employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Availability for multiple work terms is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Available to work 40 hours per week.
  • Concurrent enrollment in a degree-seeking program throughout duration of experience.
  • Min wage: $26.46 per hour
  • Max wage: $33.49 per hour
