Program Goals and Purpose

The internship program aims to provide students with a unique opportunity to work in a professional environment where they can enhance their clinical skills. Through direct engagement with clients, families, and the broader community, interns will experience the realities of clinical practice, learning to assess, diagnose, and treat mental health conditions under supervision. In addition to developing core clinical competencies, the internship is designed to foster a deep sense of commitment to the mental health profession and adherence to ethical standards.
