About the Role

This internship supports the United for Business Marketing team, which includes business-to-business marketing, events, products, and alliance airline relationships. The intern would be responsible for thoroughly understanding our marketing goals and recommending content marketing solutions that support our business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Auditing existing content library and aligning content pieces to stages of the marketing funnel
  • Writing and adapting content for various organic channels
  • Working with other marketers to fulfill campaign content needs
  • Supporting ongoing marketing initiatives and brand work
  • Contributing to campaign development

Qualifications

Required

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
  • Graduating Fall 2027, Spring 2028 or Fall 2028
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities at once
  • Strong written, verbal, and technical communication skills – ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Presentation skills – comfort with presenting in-person and virtually in front of large groups, including leadership
  • Ability to coordinate and effectively work with diverse groups of people
  • Ability to review complex information and make recommendations

Preferred

  • Basic understanding of marketing principles, particularly business-to-business (B2B)
  • Experience with long- and short-form copywriting for digital channels across web (including landing pages and blog), social media, and email
  • Analytical skills
  • Experience with creative design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite
  • Demonstrated understanding of the capabilities and limitations of generative AI tools and the ability to leverage AI effectively to support research, analysis, content creation, and problem-solving. Applies critical thinking to validate AI-generated outputs while adhering to organizational policies related to responsible AI use, data privacy, and security.

Pay

The starting rate for this role is $20.00.
