The Opportunity Williams International has an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Intern to join our team for summer 2027. The Business Development Intern works as a member of the Business Development team, under the direction and guidance of a Director, to assist in the development of market research products to inform company decision makers; the development of marketing strategies; the development of should-cost estimates; the implementation of systems to improve the collection and communication of market information; and the preparation of proposals including estimates, scope of work, schedules, terms and conditions and prices for various customer requests for proposals. Close coordination with other groups within Williams International and the customer is necessary. Qualifications Must currently be enrolled in a Bachelors Degree program in Engineering, Business, or Project Management at junior or senior standing for Summer 2027, or enrolled in a Fall 2027 Master's programProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)Excellent writing, presentation and speaking communication techniques are necessaryAbility to translate complex product technical characteristics into compelling business development products is requiredBusiness development, marketing, program management, or U.S. Government contract management experience will be very usefulMust be capable of working in a fast paced and pressure filled environment, on both commercial and U.S. Department of Defense projectsU.S. citizenship is requiredPosition requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed.
