About the role
JRI’s Community Based Services division provides care to ensure that families and their children with significant behavioral, emotional, and mental health needs obtain the services necessary for success in the home, school, and community. In this position, you will support JRI’s mission of helping children and their families.
Responsibilities
- Support the mission of JRI by conveying your passion for helping others.
- Utilize strength-based and needs-driven choices in providing services.
- Collaborate with the people we work with in a team-based approach grounded in individualized services and evidence-based practices.
- Learn more about early childhood behavioral and emotional needs through the Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation Program.
- Work on partnerships with childcare professionals across the field.
Requirements
- Minimum working towards a Bachelor's degree or above in the mental health field or social work field.
- Clinical interest in working with children/adolescents is required, and familiarity with trauma-informed models of treatment is preferred.
- Good written and oral communication skills are necessary.
- Background and driving record checks will be performed.

Pay
The pay for this internship is competitive and commensurate with experience.
