Intern
Vinfen offers internships within our Psychiatric Rehabilitation Division, providing experiential learning opportunities by working alongside teams that deliver community-based services to individuals with mental health conditions and behavioral health needs. Internship duties vary by position but include opportunities to explore human services, social work, and the day-to-day work of mental health professionals. Typical internships last 3 to 6 months and may take place at one or multiple Vinfen locations, depending on internship goals.

Responsibilities
- Work alongside teams providing community-based services to individuals with mental health conditions and behavioral health needs
- Gain experience in human services, social work, and the practical aspects of mental health professions
- Participate in duties that vary by position and internship goals
Qualifications
- Earning college credit and working toward a collegiate degree
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Familiarity with virtual conferencing tools such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams
- Ability to attend and complete in-person meetings and responsibilities
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Cultural sensitivity and compassion
- Reliability, flexibility, and a desire to learn
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality
- Willingness to sign and follow the terms of a non-disclosure agreement
- Able to successfully pass a CORI and a multistate background check
