About the role

The IT Infrastructure Intern at Pursuit Aerospace will assist the IT Infrastructure and Cybersecurity teams in executing infrastructure remediation projects to ensure cybersecurity compliance. This includes supporting internal audits, configuring network switches, and closing support tickets.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with IT Infrastructure and Cybersecurity teams to execute on infrastructure remediation projects.
• Assist with audits and assessments to ensure adherence to compliance requirements.
• Configure network switches to support segregation of operational technology assets from the IT network.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering, or related technical field.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

• Basic understanding of networking design and components.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and policies.
• Ability to work independently, managing multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in IT systems administration or cybersecurity is beneficial.

Working Conditions

• Work is performed on the shop floor in manufacturing and tool storage environments or in a professional office environment, depending on assigned responsibilities.
• Required personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn on the shop floor.
• Environment is climate-controlled, well lit, and reasonably clean.
• Typical industrial noise levels in manufacturing areas are generally below 80 decibels.
