Responsibilities
- Aid in organizing and maintaining provider credentialing files and documents.
- Track enrollment applications and statuses.
- Communicate with providers, medical offices, and insurance payers regarding required documentation.
- Support onboarding activities for new providers and practices.
- Update information in credentialing databases and spreadsheets.
- Assist with reports and follow-up tasks related to credentialing and enrollment.
- Provide general administrative support to the Credentialing team.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; college students or recent graduates encouraged to apply.
- Interest in healthcare administration, business, or medical office operations.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to multitask and work in a professional office environment.
- Detail-oriented with a willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous internship, office, customer service, or administrative experience.
- Interest in healthcare administration or revenue cycle management.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, daytime hours. This is an in-office position with minimal travel required.
