About the role
As a Senior Sales Engineer in our RMM/UEM group, you’ll play a vital role in accelerating product usage and removing technical buying objections. In this customer-facing, pre-sales role, you’ll partner closely with account executives, channel partners, and customers to deliver compelling demonstrations, guide proof-of-value (POV) trials, and position our solutions as the trusted choice for managed service providers (MSPs) and mid-market alike.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Pre-Sales Product Demonstrations: Showcase the capabilities and benefits of N-able's products through engaging and informative demonstrations to prospective partners.
- Manage Prospect Requirements: Understand the unique needs and challenges of our prospects and provide technical assistance and guidance throughout the sales process.
- Lead trial orientations and walkthroughs, highlighting N-able's strengths and capabilities, to help potential partners make informed decisions.
- Conduct thorough competitive analysis and stay up-to-date with market trends to understand competitor strengths and capabilities.
- Collaborate with Partners: Assess and address client requirements during product deployment, ensuring a seamless experience.
- Offer Best Practices: Provide design and configuration best practices to partners when deploying N-able products to their networks, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- 5+ years in pre-sales engineering, sales engineering, or technical consulting roles.
- Ability to effectively convey product messaging and value proposition through technical demonstrations, trade show demonstrations, and onsite training engagements.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and client management skills to build rapport and trust with partners.
- Ability to plan, organize, and implement projects efficiently to meet specific deadlines.
- The capability to thrive in a dynamic, rapidly growing environment, and work autonomously, demonstrating nimbleness and proactive problem-solving.
Qualifications
- Experience in RMM, UEM, vulnerability or patching solutions is desirable.

Pay
This position has a starting annualized OTE (On Target Earnings) of $114,000.00 to $140,000.00 per year, with a pay mix of 70/30 (base/commission). Actual starting pay is determined by relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
