Intermediate Lab Technician I - Evergreen Clinic

Responsibilities

• Handle biological specimens performing processing and clinical assays following the SOP.
• Operate analytical instruments.
• Perform maintenance, calibrations, and QC consulting a CLT/CT as needed.
• Under the supervision of a CLT/CT, release results following the SOP.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Proficiency with email, spreadsheets, and word processing.
• Ability to communicate verbally in person, on the phone, and in writing in a clear, concise, and professional manner.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a high pressure, time-sensitive, and complex healthcare environment.
• Ability to identify and triage issues appropriately.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.
• Must be able to differentiate between colors and pass a standardized color vision screen to perform this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in chemical, biological, or physical science preferred, clinical or research lab experience preferred, experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

Pay

The hourly pay range for this position is from $28.36 to $40.37 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

This position is full-time Monday-Friday, with rotating shifts from 6:30am-3pm, 7:30am-4pm, and 9am-5:30pm.
