Intermediate Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN) – Day Shift (Inpatient)

About the role

A Registered Nurse is needed to provide direct patient care on a telemetry unit with private rooms and cardiac monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Promote patient- and family-centered care through education on illness management, medication, and post-treatment needs.
• Participate in safety, quality, and regulatory activities, and engage in professional development.
• Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans collaboratively with the care team, patients, and families.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences, values, and cultural considerations.
• Work in a safety-sensitive environment, requiring alertness and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Current RN license.
• Educational background of Nursing Diploma, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• No prior experience required; less than two years preferred for higher education.
