Intermediate Care Nurse (RN) – PRN Day Shift

Role Overview Join the Intermediate Care Unit as a registered nurse, providing direct patient care in a supportive, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within nursing standards.Promote patient and family-centered care, including education on managing illnesses, medications, and post-treatment needs.Develop and document individualized care plans, ensuring effective communication across care teams.Use critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and cultural considerations.Participate in activities that enhance patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, along with ongoing professional development. Qualifications & Skills Licensed RN with a Nursing Diploma/Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.Experience is not required; however, 2+ years of experience is preferred for advanced roles.Current RN licensure; BJC supports competency-based professional growth.Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
