Position Description
As an Intermediate Architect at Arquitectonica, you will work on a variety of projects and be involved in the design, documentation, and construction of our projects. You will collaborate with a multi-disciplined team and have the opportunity to join our company for a career that promises to be both challenging and rewarding.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Understand both architectural design and documentation processes, including all project stages.
- Develop, prepare and coordinate presentation and documentation materials.
- Develop and produce construction documents and detail sketches.
- Generate and execute red-lined revisions.
- Collaborate and coordinate with project consultants.
- Analyze and prepare program, space planning and area calculations.
- Work independently and with your team to meet project budgetary and schedule constraints.
- Participation in regular project team, client and contractor meetings.
- Regular communication with the designated Project Manager.
Minimum Requirements
- Professional accredited degree in Architecture
- 5+ years’ continuous professional post-graduate working experience
- Fully proficient using Revit and BIM360 including: - Use of Multiple Worksets and Grouping
- Awareness of Visibility Graphics and View Templates
- Knowledge of Publishing, Packaging, and Consuming Models
- Ability to use 3D modeling software, including Rhino
- Familiarity with Microsoft Project and Bluebeam Revu
- Experience in all phases and aspects of a project
- Experience in detailing and construction documentation
- Experience with multifamily and mixed-use projects required, hotel experience is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required to interact with clients and team members
- Problem solving skills, attention to detail, motivation to learn
- Collaborative and professional work ethic
- Licensure or ARE progress with licensure expected within 2 years
