Position Description

As an Intermediate Architect at Arquitectonica, you will work on a variety of projects and be involved in the design, documentation, and construction of our projects. You will collaborate with a multi-disciplined team and have the opportunity to join our company for a career that promises to be both challenging and rewarding.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Understand both architectural design and documentation processes, including all project stages.
  • Develop, prepare and coordinate presentation and documentation materials.
  • Develop and produce construction documents and detail sketches.
  • Generate and execute red-lined revisions.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with project consultants.
  • Analyze and prepare program, space planning and area calculations.
  • Work independently and with your team to meet project budgetary and schedule constraints.
  • Participation in regular project team, client and contractor meetings.
  • Regular communication with the designated Project Manager.

Minimum Requirements

  • Professional accredited degree in Architecture
  • 5+ years’ continuous professional post-graduate working experience
  • Fully proficient using Revit and BIM360 including: - Use of Multiple Worksets and Grouping
  • Awareness of Visibility Graphics and View Templates
  • Knowledge of Publishing, Packaging, and Consuming Models
  • Ability to use 3D modeling software, including Rhino
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Project and Bluebeam Revu
  • Experience in all phases and aspects of a project
  • Experience in detailing and construction documentation
  • Experience with multifamily and mixed-use projects required, hotel experience is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required to interact with clients and team members
  • Problem solving skills, attention to detail, motivation to learn
  • Collaborative and professional work ethic
  • Licensure or ARE progress with licensure expected within 2 years
