Responsibilities

• Repair, refurbish, and reinstall interior upholstery components on business aircraft (seats, panels, other interior items).
• Remove and install seats; disassemble, clean, repair, and modify components as needed.
• Perform basic to advanced foam build‑ups, patterning, and sewing of seat parts and other upholstery items.
• Ability to perform minor modifications.
• Complete daily turnover sheets.
• Maintain and repair shop facility, equipment, and tooling.
• Keep the shop and surrounding area clean.
• Work independently when required.
• Communicate effectively and clearly (speak, write, read) in English.
• Work under supervision of a Team Leader; may direct or supervise other technicians; able to work with minimal supervision.
• Perform work in hangar/shop environment; occasional work on the ramp; varied positions in and around the aircraft.
• Use personal hand tools supplied by the mechanic; electrical power tools such as sewing machines, sanders, saws, etc.; computer and copy machine.
• Any other job‑related duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
