ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Transition customer ideas into project designs and layouts that meet customer specifications.
  • Ensure designs incorporate all applicable codes, regulations, and furniture design standards.
  • Provide guidance to customers on products that will be best suited for their application.
  • Work with the Sourcing Specialist to secure new hardware items for custom products.
  • Perform independently to effectively manage projects with minimal oversight.
  • Provide creative design suggestions to team members on design as well as solutions for complex designs.
  • Create professional presentations geared towards the dealer and architectural community.
  • Create design packages for both loose furnishings and fixed casework.
  • Set up video web calls to review and discuss drawings with customers to gather project details and verification.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Experience and/or Training: 1 year of related work experience.
  • Experience: 1 year of experience reading and understanding architectural specifications and plans.
  • Experience: 1 year of experience with Project Management.
  • Licenses/Certificates: None.
  • Technology/Equipment: Familiarity with Auto Cad and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Associate degree in Design related field.
  • Experience and/or Training: 2 years of related work experience.
  • Licenses/Certificates: None.
  • Technology/Equipment: Familiarity with Revit, CET, or other software used in the Engineering field.
