Responsibilities
- Develop interior design concepts that reflect client objectives, operational needs, and overall project vision.
- Produce and revise design documentation, including plans, finish selections, specifications, and construction-related drawing packages.
- Use Revit and architectural drawing tools to prepare accurate layouts and support coordinated project execution.
- Work closely with architects, project managers, estimators, subcontractors, and clients to maintain alignment throughout each project phase.
- Select materials, furnishings, and window covering solutions that support both design intent and project performance requirements.
- Review project scope, budgets, and construction constraints to recommend design solutions that are practical and cost-conscious.
- Support the full implementation process by answering design questions, updating documents, and helping resolve field-related issues during installation.
- Contribute to commercial construction projects from concept development through completion while maintaining quality and design consistency.
Requirements
- Experience in interior design, preferably within commercial construction or design-build environments.
- Proficiency in Revit and strong ability to interpret and create construction and architectural drawings.
- Knowledge of interior finish selection, space planning, and specification development.
- Experience coordinating design work with project teams, clients, and construction partners.
- Understanding of budget-sensitive design decisions and cost, design, and installation considerations.
