Responsibilities

  • Modifies and prepares production drawings during design development phase.
  • Corrects and updates design documents.
  • Develops solutions to technical and design problems following established standards.
  • Incorporates Integrated Sustainable Design solutions into projects.
  • Mentors and directs the work of less experienced staff.
  • Prepares 2D and 3D presentation/design drawings.
  • Buils models for client/project team review.
  • Compiles data and performs elementary design computations.
  • Fosters a green workplace through sustainable work practices.
  • Fosters a commitment to external and internal client service.

Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in in architecture, interior design or foreign equivalent.
  • 0 to 5 years’ experience; or equivalent in appropriate education and experience required.
  • LEED credential required within 12 months of employment.

Qualifications

Some overtime may be required.

Some travel may be required.

Skills

Some of the software used at HOK includes AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other industry-standard tools.
