Interior Design Practice Leader

Responsibilities Lead and grow the interior design practiceDevelop relationships with owners, developers, hospitality groups, corporate clients, contractors, brokers, and industry partnersPursue new projects and clients and convert opportunities into projectsDevelop project scopes, fees, proposals, budgets, and schedulesLead projects from initial client conversations and concepts through constructionEstablish design vision and lead client presentationsDirect space planning, materials, finishes, FF&E, millwork, lighting, specifications, and construction documentationCollaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, vendors, and clientsManage project staffing, schedules, budgets, and profitabilityMentor and develop interior designersEstablish standards, processes, resources, and culture for the interior design practiceSupport marketing, business development, and long-term practice growth Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or a related field8+ years of professional interior design experience preferredStrong design and project leadership experienceStrong portfolio demonstrating design capabilitiesExperience developing project scopes, fees, proposals, and budgetsAbility and desire to develop relationships and bring new businessExperience in hospitality, restaurants, corporate workplace, commercial interiors, tenant improvements, mixed-use, or high-end residential projectsStrong knowledge of materials, finishes, furnishings, millwork, lighting, detailing, and FF&EKnowledge of building codes, accessibility requirements, construction methods, and construction documentationExperience coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, vendors, manufacturers, and consultantsStrong communication, presentation, organizational, and leadership skillsAbility to lead, mentor, and develop designersProficiency with Revit and Adobe Creative SuiteExperience with Bluebeam and visualization software is a plusNCIDQ certification preferred but not required Benefits 401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offRelocation assistance Work Location In person
