Job Summary

About the role

Hoefer Welker has an opening for an experienced Interior Designer with 8+ years of experience. This person will have an exceptional creative design portfolio and will collaborate in all phases of project design with a focus on conceptual design, programming, space planning, documentation, and selection of materials, finishes, furniture and artwork.

Essential Functions

• Overall knowledge of construction documentation and process
• Possess interpersonal and client relation skills and the ability to handle multiple projects
• Absorb the role of Project Manager and have Project Management experience
• Absorb the role of assisting in production and development of design proposals
• Overall knowledge of furniture specifications and budgets
• Absorb the role of assisting in leading client meetings regarding interior design issues and maintaining client contact
• Proficiency in Revit with experience in Revit rendering

Education And Experience

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in the field of Interior Design or Interior Architecture with 8+ years of relevant interiors project experience required
• A creative design portfolio is required
• NCIDQ certification or architectural registration preferred
• Possession of a valid motor vehicle operator’s license and willingness to use insured personal vehicle in the course of employment
