Responsibilities

• Conduct a comprehensive assessment of UNICEF Lebanon's office space
• Improve space utilization and promote fairness and transparency in workspace allocation across sections
• Work closely with the Operations Section, the Staff Association, and designated focal points to understand functional needs, staff well-being considerations, and operational requirements
• Develop practical design options that optimize the use of available space while improving collaboration, privacy, accessibility, comfort, and employee experience
• Balancing functionality, cost-effectiveness, and future organizational needs, and where feasible, incorporate shared wellbeing spaces such as a cafeteria area, meditation/wellness room, and child-friendly room

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible professional experience in workplace planning, office space optimization, interior architecture, or corporate office design
• Demonstrated experience in office space planning, workplace assessments, stakeholder consultations, preparation of layout drawings and concept designs, and cost estimation
• Education: Bachelor's degree in interior architecture, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field

Skills

• Experience with corporate, institutional, or UN/international organization office projects is an asset

The pay scale for this position is based on the UN Common System Pay Scale.
