About the role
The Position An Interim Subject Matter Expert, Quality & Safety Improvement Consultant IV is needed to support quality and patient safety initiatives through performance improvement, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Support quality and patient safety initiatives through performance improvement, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.
- Work with healthcare providers to implement and maintain regulatory standards and quality methodologies.
- Lead peer and department review processes, using tools such as MIDAS.
- Utilize HealthConnect and Epic systems to enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and quality methodologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address areas for improvement.
- Provide guidance and support to staff on quality and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred.
- Active RN license required.
- Progressive experience in healthcare quality, patient safety, performance improvement, regulatory compliance, and peer review processes required.
- MIDAS experience required.

- Extensive experience in healthcare quality, patient safety, and performance improvement.
- A strong understanding of regulatory standards and quality methodologies.
- Proficiency with HealthConnect and Epic.
- Highly organized, patient-focused, and adaptable to changing needs.
- Excellent communication skills.

Benefits
Compensation Details Compensation Range: $160,000 to $170,000 annually. The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.
