We need to output HTML fragment with sections only if there is real specific content. Use

for headings: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We need to decide which sections have content. From posting: - Position Purpose: description of role. Could map to "About the role". Provide prose. - Minimum Qualifications: includes KSAs, Education, Training, Experience, Certification, Preferred qualifications. Could map to "Requirements" and "Qualifications" and "Skills". Need to decide. We have "Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)" list. That's skills. Education and training: high school diploma or GED; Title I specifics. Certification: CPI, CPR/First Aid preferred. Thus we can have sections: About the role (position purpose), Responsibilities (essential duties), Requirements (minimum qualifications maybe), Qualifications (education/training/experience), Skills (KSAs), Benefits (none mentioned), Pay (pay grade mentioned: Noncertified Grade 20, but no actual salary; we should not create Pay section unless posting actually states them. It says PAY GRADE Noncertified Grade 20. That's a pay grade but not a specific salary. The rule: never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless the posting actually states them. It does state PAY GRADE Noncertified Grade 20. Is that considered stating pay? It's a grade, not a numeric salary. Might be considered pay info. The instruction: "never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless the posting actually states them." It does state PAY GRADE. So we could include a Pay section with that info. However we must avoid filler like "commensurate with experience". Here we have a specific grade. So we can include Pay section with that. Schedule: WORK WEEK SCHEDULE Monday-Friday (occasional evenings and weekends/Workday must not exceed more than 40 hours per week and begins at least 30 minutes prior to the instructional day for students.) That's schedule info. So we can include Schedule section. Benefits: none mentioned. So omit Benefits. Now we need to avoid repeating job title as heading. Not include Job ID etc. We need to preserve all substantive information. Must not invent or summarize away detail. Must not omit details. We need to format lists with
  • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. We need to use

for prose. We need to output only HTML fragment. Let's extract content. Position Purpose paragraph: "Performs instructional support work assisting classroom teachers in classroom activities as well as general administrative support tasks. Implements goals and objectives established by licensed teachers and works directly with students. Assists in the instruction of individual students or groups of students in all curricular areas as directed by teachers or administrators. Plans and collaborates with teachers in devising special strategies for reinforcing skills and concepts based on the understanding of individual students." That's prose. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: list of duties. Let's capture each sentence as bullet. - Provides assistance with activities and duties that implement the total school program, assists teachers in instructional activities, and assists teachers in ensuring an encouraging, caring, safe and healthy environment for all students. - Aids teachers with planning and organizing, evaluating instructional activities, developing classroom procedures, and preparing necessary materials; ensures materials for students are readily available according to the needs of the lesson plan. - Demonstrates professional and technical skills necessary to function effectively in the classroom and to support the school program. - Works with an individual student and/or specific groups of students in a different classroom and/or area of the school, as needed. - Participates in the district staff development program and continued professional growth in the area of assignment. - Maintains a positive disposition, exercises good judgement, and remains calm when dealing with students at all times. - May perform vision and hearing screenings; enters results into the Electronic Access Student Information System (EASi, student’s electronic records system.) Initial training and recertification will be provided through WCPSS, if needed. - Performs other related duties, as assigned. That's a list. Now Requirements: maybe combine Minimum Qualifications (KSAs) and Education etc. But we have separate sections for Qualifications and Skills. Let's decide: - Qualifications: Education, Training, Experience, Certification/License requirements, Preferred qualifications. - Skills: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) list. We need to avoid duplication. The KSAs list includes many items; we can put them as

    • . Education/Training/Experience: "ALL SCHOOLS High school diploma or GED." plus Title I specifics: "Meet the employment requirements outlined by the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), Pub.L.114-95, AND have one of the following: Six documented semester hours of coursework in childhood education, OR Two years of work experience in a childhood setting." Certification: "Dependent upon the need of the school and the student population, hold and maintain a Crisis Prevention and Intervention (CPI) certification (Principal will determine if the position requires; CPI training will be provided through WCPSS). PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: CPR and First Aid certification." We should keep that as prose or list. Now Skills: list of KSAs. Let's extract KSAs bullet points: - Considerable knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point; Google Apps; - Working knowledge of successful instructional delivery methods; - Working knowledge of the core subjects at the grade level to which employment assignment is made; - Ability to recognize and support students of diverse backgrounds, learning abilities, and learning styles; - Ability to protect the confidentiality of personally identifiable information in accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA) and other applicable federal and state laws, policies, and regulations; - Ability to work in a team environment and effectively collaborate with others; - Ability to motivate students; - Ability to constantly supervise the safety and well-being of students; - Ability to work with a diverse student population and recognize variations in student backgrounds, abilities, and learning styles; - Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both in oral and written form using a variety of communication techniques and tools to ensure the appropriate flow of information, collaborative efforts, and feedback; - Ability to implement academic and behavioral interventions, as needed; - Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school system staff, students, parents, businesses, community agencies, and the public. Note some duplication: "Ability to recognize and support students..." and later "Ability to work with a diverse student population..." similar but we keep as given. Now Schedule: "Monday-Friday (occasional evenings and weekends/Workday must not exceed more than 40 hours per week and begins at least 30 minutes prior to the instructional day for students.)" We can put as prose. Pay: "PAY GRADE Noncertified Grade 20" plus FLSA STATUS Nonexempt, ELIGIBILITY FOR EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT No, etc. But we should only include Pay if posting states them. It states PAY GRADE Noncertified Grade 20. Also FLSA STATUS Nonexempt. Could include that as Pay section. However the rule: "never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless the posting actually states them." It does state PAY GRADE. So we include Pay section with that info. Could also include FLSA STATUS etc. But maybe better to keep Pay section with the grade and FLSA status. But we also have WORK WEEK SCHEDULE which we already put in Schedule. Now we need to avoid duplication: The posting also includes "SCHOOL/DEPARTMENT Elementary, Middle, or High School LOCATION School Site". That's metadata; we could fold into a short

or drop. The instruction: "do NOT put Job ID / requisition numbers as headings — fold minor metadata into a short

or drop it." So we can include a short paragraph at top with location etc. But not as heading. We need to preserve ALL substantive information. So we should include location, school/department, etc. Maybe as a

after the heading? But we cannot use headings for those. We'll just include a

with that info. Let's craft HTML:
