Interim Emergency Room Manager

About the role

Join a Georgia healthcare facility as their next Interim Emergency Room Manager. The Interim ER Manager will provide operational leadership and oversight throughout the Emergency Department, overseeing approximately 40 FTEs and focusing on initiatives such as team member engagement, efficiency, patient experience, and decreasing Left Without Being Seen (LWBS) percentages.

Start date: ASAP.

Responsibilities

• Oversee approximately 40 FTEs in the Emergency Department.
• Ensure quality, patient experience, safety, and staff accountability.
• Adhere to behavioral and operational standards.
• Partner closely with departmental leadership in a high‑acuity environment.
• Focus on team member engagement, efficiency, patient experience, and decreasing LWBS percentages.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Active GA and/or compact RN license required.
• Must be available to start within 2–3 weeks of acceptance.

Pay

Compensation range: $150,000 to $160,000 annually (final rate based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations).
